Asguard Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 August 2026

In plain words: Asguard is a personal reminder and record keeping tool. The schedules and intervals it suggests are starting points, not professional advice. Your owner's manual and a qualified professional are the authority, so check against them. You use Asguard at your own risk.

1. What Asguard is

Asguard helps you track maintenance for things you own (vehicles, home systems) by storing your records on your device and reminding you when tasks may be due. It works offline and does not require an account.

2. For information only, not professional advice

The pre-loaded maintenance tasks, intervals, and schedules (including any make/model/year-specific schedules) are general information compiled from manufacturer maintenance schedules and reputable public sources. They:

Always confirm every interval and task against your owner's manual and/or a qualified professional before acting. Every interval in Asguard is editable, and you are responsible for the values you keep or change.

3. No warranty

Asguard is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (to the fullest extent permitted by law) any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the information is accurate, complete, current, or that reminders will be delivered on time (notification delivery depends on your device's operating system and settings, which we do not control).

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Asguard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, vehicle or property damage, repair costs, missed maintenance, loss of value, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app or reliance on any information it provides, even if advised that such damages were possible. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Your data

Your records are stored on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for your own backups and for the security of your device.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated, and the date at the top will change when they are. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
